Monaco, January 31 2007 - IMAGINA, the European 3D Event, opens its doors today, Wednesday, at the Grimaldi Forum of Monaco.

Until the 2nd of February, everyone with an interest in 3D technology, be they from the industry itself or end-users, will be congregating within a business environment where, through a bespoke programme, they will develop their contacts and knowledge and enjoy a return on their investment.

Following on from last year's success, the sector's specialists are continuing to confirm their belief in this event which has renewed its format and is visibly succeeding in its quest to establish itself as the ultimate "3D market", attracting names as prestigious as those of Autodesk, IBM, Nec, Dell, ATI, Bionatics, Apport Media, Realviz, Wacom, Computers Unlimited, ImagTP, VisMasters, Progistik, Oktal…

The 2nd edition of the European Forum of 3D Visualization, the round table on the automobile industry - with the participation of Oktal, Autodesk, Renault, Virtools - as well as the many animations set up within IMAGINA, are clear indications of the organisers' objective of gearing the event towards the professional applications of 3D visualization technology and tools.

Approximately 2,000 delegates are expected to attend this premier event in Monaco; they will comprise of animation directors and special effect supervisors, of designers, architects, head engineers, technical managers...

A programme of conferences focusing on the current major trends of the technology will enable everyone involved in 3D to find out more about the state-of-art solutions that are currently available to them.
